  Your name may be recorded in the Book of Life and your name may be blotted out from the Book of Life. To have your name recorded in the Book of Life you must accept the Lord Jesus Christ and His Death, confess Him as Lord and Savior and believe through faith in His substitutionary death upon the cross. He died in our place. His sacrifice was once and for all. If anyone then turns away from the Lord, his name can be blotted out. Hebrews 5 contains warnings that you must never turn your back on God. But the Lord is Good and filled with Mercy. So if you fall into sin, repent, confess and turn back to the Lord and He will forgive you and restore your name to His Book of Life.
