The Crowns -- Rewards Given at the Bema Seat of Christ

• If you do not have a crown then you have nothing to give back to the Lord.
• Salvation comes through Grace and faith BUT "Faith without works is dead."
• Faith receives what The Lord Jesus Christ did for us. And that is Salvation.
• What you do AFTER you are saved, determines your rewards -- your crowns.

  • Titus 2:7 refers to "good works"

  • 2 Timothy 3:7 talks or works of the ministry, works of the laity, helps (love) for the needy
  So "Works" refers to accomplishing something with intentional or purposeful activity.
  These also fit in with the levels of vessels or the different vessels.

  • Do good works to lay up a reward in heaven -- to lay hold of eternal life
  • If you die without having done good works for God then there is no reward, no crown. What you did is burned up and turned to ashes. You then enter eternity with the smell of smoke upon you.
