But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. ~ Matthew 6:33
Jesus is our Lord and our Savior. Without His Sacrifice--His Atonement--we could not have a relationship with God. Only the Blood of Christ allows us into the presence of our Most High and Most Holy God.
To remain in God's presence, we must carefully maintain God's point of view as our own. We must make His Will our will. And we must do this every day, bit by bit. For the Salvation we received by the Grace of our Lord and Savior gives our lives meaning. And our daily obedience to His Will gives our lives purpose.
"And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen."
— Matthew 28:18-20
Jesus did not tell us to go and save souls because the salvation of souls is the supernatural work of God alone. He did, however, tell us to "Go and make disciples of all nations." He also told us to teach "them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you." Our one purpose is to disciple men and women to Jesus and to do that we begin with ourselves. And this requires that we keep ourselves in the Word and in prayer daily thereby equipping ourselves to complete our Lord's assignment to us.
Chi Rho — Christ Is King is offered as a place for us to do just that.
